With the slogan "We read you," comes the first season of laboratory projects "Planting Cinema", an initiative of TFM * Studio / * the studio filmmaker, who has the backing of the French Embassy in Venezuela, Distributor Blancica, Cinex, Anonymous Monteávila Studio and the University.
"Sowing film" is a training area and a meeting between the creators, and between them and the audiovisual industry. The first station is a "Workshop on Re-writing screenplays" with Isabelle Huigen, a renowned French doctor script in charge of the Department of Development and Co-production of ARTE, a major television station France and Germany, as TVE English or Italian RAI. Huigen has participated in major productions that have been screened and awarded at the Venice Biennale and the European Film Awards.
After the first workshop, depending on the status of development of scripts received, will be scheduled the second season focused on the management. Finally, the scripts turned into projects, together with the letter of the director and the backing of a production, will make a public presentation or pitching, we invite purchasing managers, responsible for project development and film exhibitors.
The aim of this space will exchange with the audiovisual industry in Venezuela, and how vital it is for a producer to be clear from the outset what the audience which wants to go and distribution and exhibition spaces suitable for film.
