The numbers 21 and 22 of the series "Warriors and Battles" contained in two volumes, the Battle of Bailen. Edited by Almena in Madrid in 2005 and entitled: "Bailen 1808. The Eagles defeated." The author of text and illustrations is already known by everyone Francisco Vela. As in previous cases well illustrated with uniformity of the two armies that participated in the contest and with knowledge of the famous first battle in which the French are defeated in open field and runs events before and after the meeting on dancing through the characters, the battle itself and the consequences for both sides. It also has two sketches: the battle of Bailen and Menjíbar action, which place it is sufficient for the two moments.
is a story in which there is enhanced through the battle and the legend action of the contestants, which is matched to accurate facts, getting to move a image of the moment, the characters and their circumstances. An interesting book to have for all those interested in the time and in the reproduction of the battle in dioramas or even move it to wargames.
