Harnessing the rest Easter is always good to visit the nearby places, and Segovia has been the target of Sunday.
Also in this wonderful city we find monuments to the War of Independence and its heroes remembered.
The monument to Daoiz and Velarde, is made by Aniceto Marinas in 1910, author among other monuments the Heroes of Dos de Mayo (1891), in Loyalty Square in Madrid, or de Velázquez (1899) at the main entrance of the Museo del Prado. In this case, the Monument to the Heroes of 2 May is the center of the Plaza de la Reina Victoria Eugenia, opposite the entrance to the Alcazar of Segovia.
